The Big Virtual - College Admissions Fair is a national online college fair hosted by eCareerFairs.com that attracts tens of thousands of college-bound high school students from around the country. 1 Virtual Booth
A virtual booth (like a physical booth) is the entry point where students will interact with your event offerings. Here, they can converse in a one-to-many format with your General Greeting presenter. This person answers general questions and can direct visitors to the proper representative. Or, students can go directly to a school representative and wait in a queue to speak via text chat one-on-one.
1 Representative Account: one-on-one text-based chat
A representative is either the individual available for the General Discussion area, or any of those that represent a department of your college. A representative can be a coach, upperclassmen, department head, admissions staff, or other individual that represents a particular aspect of your school. More representatives can be accommodated (fees apply).
General Greeting Area: one-to-many text-based chat
When a student enters your booth, they will be presented with an area (chat window) where they can ask general questions regarding your school. This is a public chat session where all visitors can view and participate in the chat. This is presented as a one-to-many, text only or text and video (fees apply) chat.
College Profile
The college profile is a brief synopsis of your school typically describing the core benefits and reasons why it stands above others. Booth visitors can read the profile before, during, and after the event.
1 Embedded Profile Video
You can submit an “embed” link from YouTube or Vimeo to showcase your school with a virtual tour or marketing video and any other video you’d like. This video will display directly within the booth for all to see when they visit. Students will be able to access this video as soon as it’s updated - prior to the event.
